To cry a little bit because my DD3 (3.10) doesn't understand internet shopping?

In my defence, I have a migraine, brought on by lack of sleep, after DD3 was screaming in the middle of the night because I couldn't find the Hello Kitty socks she had been dreaming about. At 3.30 in the morning Hmm I was quite desperate, so I suggested that if she went to sleep, we could look on the computer for some hello kitty socks.

I've found them, I've paid for them. They will coming. She is screaming because she wants to go and buy them. I've explained that I have bought them. She.doesn't.understand.

Did I mention my head hurts?

Give it a few years when she is VERY familiar with internet shopping, you'll be fondly looking over this moment Wink

Could you liken it to sending Santa a list and he has to deliver them, like on Xmas morning, providing you do that sort of thing of course!

I shouldn't laugh cause you've got a migraine but I did a bit, sorry.

Reminds me of the first time I made cupcakes w. ds1, then 2. Cue massive tantrum cause they had to go in the oven. It was a looong 10 min.

I patiently explained that the person would put them in a packet, send them to the post office, who would then put them on a train and bring them to our town, then our lovely post person would deliver it and it would plop through our door.

She promptly went to the door and pronounced me a liar

When DS was a toddler he went on Tesco.com and ordered 2000 Thomas the Tank cup cakes. They tried to deliver 56 because that was all they had.

You are better off if they don't underastand.

I STILL remember being about 3 and dreaming that I was eating an apple....I woke up and couldn't find it...and went MAD! WHERE IS MY APPLE! and my Mum trying to tell me it was a dream when I KNEW I had had an apple in my bed!
