I got bored of the Guardian, so decided to buy the Times this weekend

maybe I was unlucky but this paper PANDERS to Middle Class neuroses
and seem to have very little (international) news

1 x article on Private schools
1 x article on how to assist your kids with homework
1 x article of "French Kids dont eat Food" author

and more shite of this ilk

I actually HATE the UK media, there is nothing for me, nothing

THE Times did 5 page(s) mention of Joe Strummer (singer with The Clash ) and a stonking obit(full page ) >good enough for me ! and in days past ,when they announced a world scoop and later realised they had been conned the then editor immediately resigned , unlike when p.morgan(the sun) fannied up and tried to weezel his way out of his shit >horses for courses imo re paper, >is Socialist Worker still sold outside train stations ? oh and , the dm>what a hoot of a paper ! if all those who claim not to purchase it acually didn"t , it would have dissapeared yonks ago!big issue anyone?

I hate the Times. DH gets it at weekends but I mostly just read Caitlin Moran and Robert Crampton.

John witherow has just moved from editing S.Times to Times....his role is to make it more mass market and popular. I think you can already see that in the 3 weeks he's been in the job.

...it wasn't doing well though. I suspect the Times and Sunday Times will merge into a seven day operation within a year.
