Or will I give up at first lamp post?

You decide

I wouldn't make the first lamp post personally Grin. I always find an ice lolly helpful, personally. Pineapple preferably or something like that. Makes me feel I'm vaguely introducing cold fruity Vitamin C to my raddled old body!

Bad idea. Hangovers are partly dehydration. Running will make you feel even crappier, probably.

newpencilcase · 02/02/2013 12:11

Well I'm in my running gear but have made a cup of tea.

twinklylittlestar pretty much nailed it, dehydration, and massive headache, imo!but, we are all slightly diff. so why not give it a try? >suggestion> take a taxi,to a distance of say 1km from home and start run from there , then ! if it turns out to be not your best "hair of a dog " cure, the "end" is in fact in sight!

I went. 5k a little more challenging than usual.

Have just had a pint of berocca & a fishfinger sandwich is in the making.

More tea required.

I did my longest run while hungover, was planning on going three miles down to the local cricket club and then running back - got DH to pick me up when I got there!

crashdoll · 02/02/2013 14:44

Drink water and take a nap.

newpencilcase · 02/02/2013 15:15

You were all quite right.

Am now exhausted with thumping headache.

Time for a Peppa Pig nap I think.

me laughing thou not at your expense, hugs and good karma points 4 you.

Dahlen · 02/02/2013 17:05

Actually works for me, provided the hangover is not too bad and I'm careful to drink lots before and after.

Celticlassie · 02/02/2013 17:08

Gym always perks me up during a hangover. On the days when I make it out of the house.
