YANBU, where is it?

Jinsei · 31/01/2013 08:41

I wouldn't pay more than a pound for thongs. Wink

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 31/01/2013 08:43

Why were you buying thongs 2 days in a row. What did you do with the first lot Shock

WandaDoff · 31/01/2013 08:47

Thongs are like dental floss for your arse.

Mine prefers comfy pants these days.

mrsjay · 31/01/2013 08:50

do you not wash your thongs is that why you were buying them 2 days in a row Grin

tothesea · 31/01/2013 09:04

Wasn't Asda by any chance was it those thieving bastards

ratspeaker · 31/01/2013 09:05

I'd point out if I was being overcharged for anything be it thongs, bras or groceries. It's the principle. I scutinise my receipt before leaving supermarkets and shops < mean Scot emoticon needed here >

I'd also be tempted to put a call in to consumer direct /trading standards if a shop was persistently showing one price and charging another.

CremeEggThief · 31/01/2013 09:09

I would make a point of it even if it was a penny. Fuck what anyone else in the queue thinks!

Glossynotflossy · 31/01/2013 09:31

Not a thong wearer here. I need more tham dental gloss to cover my behind

gordyslovesheep · 31/01/2013 09:38

I am lost !

notso · 31/01/2013 09:50

Those stares were at the thongs OP!

I don't think YABU ,the shop would not let it go if you tried to pay them less.
I am wondering why you bought them on two days in a row though.

TiggyD · 31/01/2013 09:51

Thongs ain't what they used to be.

TiggyD · 31/01/2013 09:53

Bugger.
I meant "Thongs ain't what they used to be" Grin !!!

Don't you hate it when you cock up a post!

TitHead · 31/01/2013 10:10

Thongs? Was that a typo?

ElliesWellies · 31/01/2013 10:29

Ok but seriously, YANBU. If they overcharged every customer by a few pence, imagine how much profit they'd be making.

theodorakisses · 31/01/2013 11:58

Maybe you mean thongs in the antipodean sense, flip flops...
It is annoying though, especially when it's an arsebum to get back to the shop in question

mybootsaremuddy · 31/01/2013 12:36

Guessing you meen 'things' not thongs? Grin

YANBU like poster ^ there said if ever customer was over charged just a few pence the shop would soon raking it in.
