This is the school that is being given lock, stokc and barrel to Lord Harris of the Harris Federation chain of schools. He is personal friends with Dave Cameron and Tory donor to the tune of over £2 million. A coincidence? No, it's playground bullying at its worst!

If this is happening to your school, what is the name of your school. People keep saying 'yeah this happened to us too' but without names of schools it's hard to make an argument that this is a country wide scam. Can anyone name schools.

It's happening at Roke Primary and also another good school in Brent. Gladstone Park, but it's the manner that it's happening in which is particularly shocking at Roke. We are sleepwalking into an education nightmare.

I am from a Secondary school where this is currently happening, Wary to put Name and location due to this being an open board where everyone uses a name that is not theirs.

We were OFSTED 'ed in October and had a DofE bully come and tell us (i am on the governing board so was in the meeting) we now had to become an acadamy, if we agreed it would happen within 6 months, if we disagreed we would be taken over and be an acadamy within 9 months!

Yes, its Roke Primary school and the manner in which its being done is awful.

It's quite simple: the LA dont want to bare the cost of schools; you can either choose to self change into an academy and be responsible for your own finances OR you can sit back and wait fora hostile take over by an established academy chain.

If you want a bit of light reading - take a look at Harris Academies in the SE .... very marmite (love or hate them) but they take in NQR~TS, chew them up and spit them out in two years. Look at TES and the sheer volume of Harris jobs advertised.

It's not ultimately the LAs decision. It is Michael Gove and the henchman at DfE bullying LAs and bullying little Primary schools.
