To have been so excited and shouted at a passing car?

Waiting at a bus stop earlier, there was queue of traffic. The car stopped just to the right of the bus stop had the best personalised plate I have ever seen- A1 BVU. I may have accidentally shouted YES YOU ARE! at said car, arousing the attention of the driver, and the other people waiting at the bus stop. That was THE most awkward bus journey of my life :o :o :o Lady with the silver bmw, I salute you!

MikeLitoris · 29/01/2013 20:14

That has to be a staff car surely?

Genius! Grin

KentuckyFriedChildren · 29/01/2013 20:16

I dunno Mike I doubt it though unless they're on holiday in Inverness. If she isn't a MNer she should be :o

Well it can't be Oliva's or it would have said AH3M Grin

ImperialBlether · 29/01/2013 20:17

What does AH3M stand for?

:o I felt like such a tit standing there after cos the traffic wasn't moving and the woman in the car was looking at me like I was a bit wierd so what if I am she was sat there for a good few minutes waiting for the lights to change. I am so embarrassing Blush Just glad dh wasn't with me, he would've both cowed with the shame of it and taken the piss for the rest of, well, forever!

YANBU!

I will keep an eye out next time I'm in Inverness Grin

KentuckyFriedChildren · 29/01/2013 20:30

Anyone else done something ridiculous in public? I could cry at how many times I have fallen over in the most obscure way or had uncontrollable nonsense spurt out of my mouth. Gah.

KentuckyFriedChildren · 29/01/2013 20:32

Wallace you KNOW I will be looking out for that car now (and biting my tongue when I see it :o)

what a lovely numberplate - whoever owns this car I salute you too!

WingDefence · 29/01/2013 20:40

That's just brilliant! Grin

This thread so coincedental to what me and Dh were chatting about earlier, we were on our way to the dentist and the car in front reg plate was NOB. I said to Dh that it would put me off buying a car with a number plate like that and he said it would him too and that they probably sell for cheaper than cars with h456 gbk etc plates.

KentuckyFriedChildren · 29/01/2013 20:43

There are loads of personal plates round my bit, but they all sort of spell out names iyswim. I have no feckin clue what that was supposed to say but it gave me a good giggle anyway. What those people must've thought though Blush :o

Nice car, too.

KentuckyFriedChildren · 29/01/2013 21:12

Wonder if it was a divorce lawyer :o

I would buy that car just for the number plate!

She's missing a trick - car auction to MN'ers who want that numberplate!

DianaOfThemyscira · 29/01/2013 21:30

There's a mumsnet car in my town, reg no Y* NBU :)

The best number plate I've spotted was M1 OWD1 - on a cute little Audi :)

determinedma · 29/01/2013 21:32

Dhs car ends in the unfortunate letters WNK. And it just happened like that, its not a personal one. The Dcs call his car the Wankmobile!

DianaOfThemyscira · 29/01/2013 21:34

Actually, I've just remembered another car reg I spotted (and photographed)

B1 GDK

I kid you not :)
