All to myself.

In bed.

Alone.

It is a very large box.

Washed down with a diet coke or 3.

Except gor the orange and strawberry ones. There are 12 of those.

I ate a big bar of Cadbury with toffee popcorn the other day washed down with Dr Pepper

TaggieCampbellBlack · 29/01/2013 12:23

I'm now eating a pouch of Mini MatchMakers.

Didn't realise how strong the mint flavour was in them

AnuvvaMuvva · 29/01/2013 12:28

According to MyFitnessPal, you've eaten 2910 calories. Let's take off 600 for the 12 unbeaten ones. 2310 calories.

Is the bed feeling a bit tight yet?

RuleBritannia · 29/01/2013 12:28

I bought some Easter eggs the other day. I know it's early but I have to post them abroad. I ate one plus its contents like the OP, alone.

So I have to buy another one now.

catladycourtney1 · 29/01/2013 12:29

YABU to not eat the strawberry and orange ones. Or at least to not send them to me.

manicinsomniac · 29/01/2013 12:29

Yes, very!

TaggieCampbellBlack · 29/01/2013 12:31

I've had 12 and feel nauseous.

Shock

My stamina is not what it used to be.

Its the first chocolate I have had this year!

chocoluvva · 29/01/2013 12:33

Dairy = healthy surely?

Balanced diet - high sugar dairy + low sugar hydration.

Torchwood though - ooooh YABU with that!

chocoluvva · 29/01/2013 12:34

First choc of the year!

So impressed.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 29/01/2013 12:36

I know. 4 weeks.

Maybe have a couple more before my nap.

I can't even have a box of chocolates in the house because I will do just that, eat my way through the entire contents, alone and sometimes in one evening or one hour

And I mean ALL. Yep that's right, the orange and strawberry ones AND the turkish delight.

Each and every last sickly morsel. Even if I don't really want it and I feel slightly sick, I am still compelled to eat THE WHOLE SODDING BOX once it has been opened.

Therefore if I am ever given a box of chocolates as a present I say thank-you very much and then promptly regift it or give it to DH for him to share with work colleagues.

I have no willpower or moderation when it comes to this Sad

TaggieCampbellBlack · 29/01/2013 12:41

I had said box for christmas. Been resisting it since.

Got a shocking headache now. Think it was brewing before though. I have Stress.

We have a box of Dairy Milk that dh was given for Christmas 2011. It is over 6 months out of date, but I can't throw it out because it is chocolate. And I don't want to open it, partly because I am not that keen on Dairy Milk, and partly because if the chocolates have gone stale, I would feel unreasonably disappointed.

Fluffy1234 · 29/01/2013 12:45

3500 calories is roughly a pound in weight so don't do it.

MatureUniStudent · 29/01/2013 12:46

I got a really nasty v large box of chocolates for Christmas. Each bite made me feel queasy and each mouthful of the wierd combinations of chocolates made me feel a bit sick. Being Christmas, I washed it down with wine.

But I didn't shirk my duty. I didn't give in and throw the chocolates away. I made sure I stayed to task until the box was finished. Grin

This is why we NEVER have chocolate/wine/biscuits/butter in the house. Just nice organic carrots. Sigh.

HellonHeels · 29/01/2013 13:31

YABU to eat chocolate and drink diet coke at the same time. That is the combination from hell. Chocolate goes with coffee (or possibly tea).

YA also BU not to eat the strawberry ones - those are my favourites!

I'm surprised the whole box comes in at under 3000 calories - is that really correct? So if you don't mind gaining a pound, eat them! It's much easier to gain a pound than lose one, though.

Fluffy1234 · 29/01/2013 13:41

Sounds about right and 2 days worth of fat!

ChocolatesSnowAngel · 29/01/2013 13:43

a pound in weight is that all?? I say have at it but send meee the orange and strawberry creams, they will go lovely with the Bubble Bar fest i am having! hmmmmmmmmmm Grin

catladycourtney1 · 29/01/2013 14:47

MatureUniStudent haha, I have a family member who always seems to buy me really odd chocolates for Christmas. Like turkish delights, liqueurs, stuff like that. This year it was a box of various slightly different but equally gross mints. Now, I don't mind the odd mint creme, or those crunchy segment things that come out at Christmas, but these tasted like toothpaste-infused nougatty stuff. Needless to say, I ate the entire box. I simply cannot throw or even give away chocolate, especially if it comes in a nice box.
