I read it as he has been granted anonymity to prevent suicide - wonder how his victims feel

He wasn't actually found guilty of abusing a child, "just" of downloading images.

I suppose there are two possibilities. That the judge has made a reasonable decision based on knowledge he has that we don't.

Or. The Judge is irredeemably corrupt and has been bought off.

This is about 'right to life' and the fact he has been assessed as at high risk of committing suicide if his name is leaked.

Vigilantism would always be a concern I suppose.

Well, if there is compelling evidence from a psychiatrist that he would kill himself if his name was released, you would support the judges decision- if you don't want him to kill himself!
