to want my MIL to brush her teeth in the bathroom

uggghh my mil the rogue who has been asked time and time again not to brush her teeth, actually wait, she asked first for a cup of hot water, drinks half of it, pulls out her toothbrush, no paste, dips it into the cup of water, brushes her teeth a few times then drinks the water. I physically wretch but yet she is let get away with it unless I force my husband to pull her up on it. She is crazy though.... Ive tried to walk away but she gulps like a fish dying out of water. oh god its awful.

In which room does she do this? Sounds a bit bizarre, but surely the moment she asks for a cup of hot water, you can just move to the furthest part of the house for 10 mins, stick your fingers in your ears and sing la-la-la very loudly?

Yeah , she comes down once a week, only lives 2 mins away, she is a bit zany, there is so many things you could ask her like not to wear her shoes in sitting room, she refuses to take them off, thats grand but then proceeds to put them up on the couch but thinks because my childs blanky is under her shoes its ok!>??? Im at a loss here as she is pampered by all her family and I cant keep ranting to my own family as they get withered from even hearing it lol.

however, my (ex) mil would wet herself, show me ......yes, show me, and ask to borrow my pants. No, she doesn't have dementia.

How many times does she do it in a visit? Is it an OCD thing?

She does it in the sitting room , she is 70 , no its more like she does it because she is so lazy and spoilt at home so does most things in her kitchen, like standing there in her bra and pants getting changed and we walk in on top of her :O awky.

Ah its just annoying, if we go to a restaurant she makes a big fuss about wanting tin foil to take the food home for the cats, if there is no tin foil etc she makes a bigger fuss. Some things you just dont do, like at my wedding at the top table. I could go on but I wont , things could be worse. :)

I know it must be irritating to watch but it made me laugh! She does sound funny in her ways...
