To go to an exercise class this lunchtime even though I'm still aching from the last one?

I went to a class on Monday. It was quite hard core and intense. My legs and arms are still aching from it.
However I hear you are supposed to do 3 or 4 radio sessions a week to burn fat. In that case I will have to go even though I ache! (Confused). Does it mean my muscles haven't recovered and I need more rest time?

Go...you will be fine and you will find once you get warmed up you won't ache anyway!!!The more you go, the less you will ache if you keep it consistant.

As long as you're not injured it's fine to go.

The acheing won't get any worse

No it means you used muscles that I assume haven't been used for a while (Smile). Assuming they only ache and don't actually hurt you'll be fine Smile

My trainers tell me that "Pain is weakness leaving the body" - so go for it, if you can be bothered!

Going when you ache isn't a problem - but you'd be better building up to 3/4 hardcore sessions a week. Your body will do what you ask of it - but give the poor thing some notice!

Fitness trainers btw - I don't have regular chats with my Nikes!

I have been exercising, well snowboarding and mountain walking very regularly and I've been swimming twice a week in the evenings.
It's just that I haven't done this intense circuit for a while.

I'll go and get my kit and head down to the gym before work then!

Will be fine as others said. Should say though - my last PT worked with me on stretching pre and post workout and since then I've never been sore, even after weights! It makes such a big difference when you stretch well Smile

Well I went. the aches went but I know they will be back!

Good for you!
I've started going to the gym recently but I never see anyone (other than me) doing any stretches.
