to find women who pay for a photo shoot and then post photos on Facebook and call them "modelling" a bit self-deluded?

You know the ones - sitting in that huge circular hole in the wall.

Sure the photos look nice, but you paid a ridiculous amount for those photos to be done and that doesn't make you a model.

Next time you're on the cover of Vogue then you may post the photos on Facebook and label them modelling.

And breathe Smile

I always see the ones sitting in holes or in sort of round suspended chairs

Oh my god, the soft focus, wavy blown out 80's hair.
They are models alright...

AKissIsNotAContract · 22/01/2013 22:01

I've never seen these, I'm missing out.

CaptainSweatPants · 22/01/2013 22:02

Agree!
Have people who only post photos of themselves in these poses
Never their kids!

TheOriginalLadyFT · 22/01/2013 22:02

Far worse the ones who have soft porn ones done and then have their dear old dad/uncle etc telling them they look gawguss. Really weird

I know a mother and daughter who 'treat' themselves to these photoshoots every year and upload the heavily photoshopped results on Facebook. (You know the kind of photos where the eyes are an unnatural shade of blue and skin very....creamy..)

A colleague at work has a photo-shoot picture of his DW on his desk. Full arms up / hands behind head / sultry look / soft focus.

It makes me smile.
