Friday was exciting, Saturday and Sunday we had lots of fun on the sledge and building snow families. Monday was a bit of a challenge in a fun way going to school + preschool with the sledge. Today it is just icy, not enough to use the sledge, too slippery for scooter/pushchair. School is a 1.5 mile round trip (yes it is the closest), not fun with a 3yr old, then it started snowing again on the way home - probably not enough to look lovely and white again, just enough to add to the ice for tomorrow. Grump over!

I'm fed up of slipping and sliding to the bus stop in the mornings.

Samvet · 22/01/2013 17:55

Totally fed up. Live at top of a hill, 2 cars in ditch on Friday. Day off nursery as at bottom of said hill. Tomorrow looks another write off. 10 hours of work I have now missed (work from home) and deadlines looming. 29 weeks preg and have a cold and knackered but now have to work every night to catch up. Making snow men not worth it!

SkinnybitchWannabe · 22/01/2013 17:58

I agree op. I love it on the day but I wish it would disappear overnight so it doesn't go icy or slushy

PPT · 22/01/2013 18:00

Agreed... Yawn- snow, we're so over you now.... Just bugger off and melt- Bring on SUMMER!

lljkk · 22/01/2013 18:03

We're deluged by slush that will turn to ice for next few days. Snow was great but I'm not pleased about slush.

toweraboveyou · 22/01/2013 18:03

We have another 4 inches forecast for tonight and we will on top of a hill. My 5am journey to work looks in doubt.

Pascha · 22/01/2013 18:08

Yep. Its on the way out here thank goodness but I'm sick of being virtually housebound with a toddler and a baby due to where we live and DH taking the car for work. I just want to get back into the swing of things, no more cancelled groups or classes please.

PoppyWearer · 22/01/2013 18:09

YANBU.

Fed up of the pushchair skidding more sideways than forwards on the pavement. Fed up of our road necessitating a 4x4 to get out of it. Fed up of having to stay at home/local in case school decides to close early. Fed up of snowy footprints all over our solid wooden floor.

jamdonut · 22/01/2013 18:12

No snow here at all now! (East Yorkshire Coast)

InNeedOfBrandy · 22/01/2013 18:14

I wish it would do one

It's snowing again here and were forecasted another few inches tonight, it's doing my head in!!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/01/2013 18:35

Oh so do I. I've got things to do and it's getting on my tits. Loads of it around and all frozen solid. Thinking we weren't due for any more so just had to work on wishing it away, looked out of the window and there's more of the bastard stuff falling!

Gumby · 22/01/2013 18:36

Where are you all where it's still snowing?

InNeedOfBrandy · 22/01/2013 18:37

I'm in Bristol

threesocksmorgan · 22/01/2013 18:38

yanbu I have had it with it and want it to go now

streakybacon · 22/01/2013 18:40

We got a new car on Friday and I can't get out to play with it Sad. Proper hacked off with it now.

McNewPants2013 · 22/01/2013 18:44

Yanbu, I am sick of it now. It's feels like I haven't had normality in this house since the kids broke up for Christmas. Illness and snow means the kids haven't had a full week in and there off in 3 weeks for 1/2 term

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/01/2013 18:46

Surrey. Bastard snow.

Gumby · 22/01/2013 18:49

Damn I was hoping you'd all say Scotland Grin
