But then they'll get up early!

LittleBearPad · 20/01/2013 19:36

Nope, just think how much more exciting it will be to wake up tomorrow and find out then. I think you're being altruistic Grin

BackforGood · 20/01/2013 19:41

Doesn't work that way round in this house, .... ds came to tell me after his HT tweeted the news Grin

foslady · 20/01/2013 19:41

Definately don't tell them - they'll be too excited to sleep otherwise!

Getoutofmygumboot · 20/01/2013 19:43

It's great, imagine their little faces when they find out they aren't going to school Grin

ThreeBeeOneGee · 20/01/2013 19:44

If you make them get dressed into their uniform and go into school tomorrow, that would BU. Otherwise U think you're fine. Grin

CloudsAndTrees · 20/01/2013 19:46

YANBU. I would have done the same if DS hadn't checked on his own schools website Hmm

ChaosTrulyReigns · 20/01/2013 20:45

Envy It isn't even snowing here and probably won't.

Enjoy the snow day!

IamtheZombie · 20/01/2013 21:44

It snowed here steadily all day. Zombie has to be at the hospital in the morning so DZoH did a test drive mid-afternoon. If we can get out of our parking area we should be fine. He's cleared and gritted so fingers crossed.

wonderingsoul · 20/01/2013 21:53

it's been snowing non stop since 8am and still going strong...

I'm really hoping for a snow day tomorrow. going out about 9ish get some electric. sweets and fun in the snow.. back for 12 -1ish for pjs and blankets onthe sofa.

perfect.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 20/01/2013 22:34

Well, we've just found out the big ones are off school as well. Wonder how many I'll end up with here. Hmm

Luckily, I have supplies.

Is Zombie ok?

Zombie is fine. It's her 10th Herceptin cycle tomorrow. She'll get to play with the Piriton fairies while DZoH watches her snore. (He'll actually slip off for a hot date with a scrummy Belgian Bun in the League of Friends shop.)

I was cross on Fri that we all had to get up and get ready before finding out that school was shut. I'd have loved a lie in and to leave the kids to have one too (they'd been at panto the night before and had had a late night). I'd have told my DDs now that tomorrow was a snow day - but only for the sake of that lie in.

They were v excited to find out Fri am and to be told "uniforms off" so that has a certain appeal too.
