I'll go with her Grin - where is it ?

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2013 12:34

Oh no, what an awful night out. But your poor Mum is she really excited? I went to see Barry Manilow once and he was actually very good so it may be ok. Your Mum has to pay for you though. Wink

WiseKneeHair · 16/01/2013 12:35

Are you my neice? Grin
SIL off to see them soon.

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2013 12:36

Where is little Jimmy Osmond though, have they left him out?

Mosman · 16/01/2013 12:36

One of the best concerts I have ever been to was Tom Jones he rocked, give it a go

Nancy66 · 16/01/2013 12:37

....i wouldn't mind seeing that especially if they do their 'I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock n roll' bit.

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2013 12:37

YY give it a go, buy a T Shirt and be proud. Grin

Yakshemash · 16/01/2013 12:39

I went to see Gene Pitney with my mum (before he died, obvs)

It was awesome

Nancy66 · 16/01/2013 12:43

come on....how can you not love this

Vagaceratops · 16/01/2013 12:51

I have paid my dues, as a teenager I went with her to see David Essex and Cliff twice

And she wouldnt come to Boyzone with me when I was 13, because she thought they were cheesy!!

5Foot5 · 16/01/2013 12:54

Oh I would go too. Hang on - there is a possibility I am old enough to be your Mum!

OmgATalkingOnion · 16/01/2013 12:56

Blimey are they still going strong?Shock 'Paper Rrroses, paper rrroses...'

Yeah I'd go (but in a large hat and dark glasses)

BegoniaBampot · 16/01/2013 12:56

Paper roses, paper roses
Oh how real those roses seemed to be...

onny was my first crush, had a t shirt with his face and insisted on wearing even when it got too small and his face started stretching and deforming.

TidyDancer · 16/01/2013 12:59

Hmmm well you have paid your dues in the past. Although I'm totally with your mum on the Boyzone issue!

I love a bit of the golden oldies so I would probably go!

OmgATalkingOnion · 16/01/2013 13:00

And who knew that Marie sells posh dollies on QVC?(Don't ask how I know thatBlush)

StickyProblem · 16/01/2013 13:00

I saw them a few years ago and they were fantastic! Even if you aren't a fan, they put on a great show. Go :)

GetOrf · 16/01/2013 13:01

Oh I would love to go, I bet it's a GREAT night.

Be thankful she hasn't booked Daniel O'Donnell.

HobKnob · 16/01/2013 13:02

Blimey.

Ah well, could be worse- half of my SW group went to see Peter Andre this week.

WiseKneeHair · 16/01/2013 13:06

HobKnob
That would be enough to put you off your food.
Maybe they were using it as a weight loss technique.

YABU to use the phrase "I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than..."

I shudder whenever I hear or see that, thanks to the gruesome mental imagery that pops straight into my mind.

But I can fully understand you not wanting to go and see Donny and Marie.

Bobyan · 16/01/2013 20:24

She thought Boyzone were cheesey but is willing to pay to see Donny and Marie.
I think I have just wet myself from laughing so hard!

littlewhitebag · 16/01/2013 20:25

DONNY!!!

My first big crush. I want to go. Please , please choose me.

coughingbean · 16/01/2013 20:31

Are they not playing in Vegas? If so gogogogo!

Nancy66 · 16/01/2013 20:35

Didn't Marie piss herself on stage recently? Might be going to see just for that.
