AIBU to be annoyed with Boden clothes about their new sizing policy?

Mini sizes which are cheaper and have adjustable trouser waists now stop at AGE Ten but you are encouraged to buy Johnnies B, for another tender more and fixed waist trousers? My DS, twelve can still fit the in his AGE nine Boden jeans, around the waist (virtuously cut down for shorts) while just growing out of his age twelves in length.(huge hassle finding another supplier, aargh!)
Have heard they are losing their touch and this policy mis hit seems to hint its true??

That's a shame.

DS who's 13 is tall and very skinny and getting trousers for him is horrendous.

He wears topman jeans down around his hips with a belt and they're still too wide!

YANBU. I wear mini in age 13-14 and size 10 in women's - often things like the cardigans and hoodies are very similar designs but obviously half the price in mini - I will miss it! Johnnie B is a bit too fashiony for me.

Take a look at Zara, their trousers are long but quite slim fit for the girls, not sure aout boys. I find Boden sizes bonkers in general...toddler dresses enormous, pyjamas tiny, tops too long etc. not a brand I rate at all, and price doesn't represent any value vs quality.

YANBU - just got the latest Mini Boden catalogue and was about to order a pair of their slim jeans for DS1 (14) who is tall and skinny, as the jeans are nice and slim, look good on a 14 year old, and yet they have the elasticated waist. Was very disappointed, as they were the perfect fit for him.

My cynical view was that the Johnnie B clothes are more expensive than the Mini Boden ones, but had forgotten the wonderful discretely elasticated waist. So much for giving the consumer what they want.

YANBU. I don't know why Boden have made the crazy decision to alter the sizing of the JohnnyB range too. The biggest size now only fits up to about 5'6" tall - as a result, my 13 yr old DD ( who is already that height) will not be able to wear JohnnyB for much longer.
She has not been able to wear Mini Boden for a couple of years - partly due to sizing and partly the styles being too young. I am not sure who will wear JohnnieB now as they have made the smaller sizes suitable for primary aged kids, the teens won't want to be in the same styles anyway.
In the grand scheme of things it is not a big deal but DD liked the JohnnyB styles as they were similar but much cheaper than the likes of Jack Wills and I have been happy buying for her as the quality has always been good. They will lose our custom now , not because we don't like the clothes but because the sizes are all wrong.
I would imagine that like the poster below, many adults have been buying JohnnyB which is why they have made the sizes smaller but Boden may well have shot themselves in the foot with this one.
