With the seats folded flat and no other passengers you should get the frame in but probably not the mattress

Lonelybunny · 14/01/2013 08:08

It doesn't come with the mattress ? I'm still not so sure :( and muggins here has to drive 10 miles or so to get it

Dismantled? You will with the seats down! I got a dismantled Ikea cabin bed into my Yaris Verso - it was tight but possible!

Moominsarescary · 14/01/2013 08:20

You should do , we got a 3 seater sofa in our 7 seat peugeot, but all the seats came out.

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 14/01/2013 08:24

We transported a dismantled king size in ours so if a single doesn't go in you are loading it wrong! We also transported a dismantled Ikea double and it's mattress all the way from Northamptonshire to Cambridgeshire and a dismantled single plus mattress and bedroom contents from Cambridgeshire to Oxfordshire.

jendot · 14/01/2013 08:29

We have had a dismantled king size, and a 3 seater sofa bed in ours. Will fit easy!

No problem at all.

You will do it easily, if you want to. We have moved bigger things than that many many times. Single mattress also fits in ok with a bit of effort!

So, yes, YABU

Lonelybunny · 14/01/2013 09:14

Ok thanks , didnt realise ! We couldn't even get a chest of drawers in once was too wide and too tall Blush

Should do, I got a dismantled up in the air cabin bed into a Toyota Avensis which included the single bed sized bed frame bottom.

Twattybollocks · 14/01/2013 11:43

Probably. Drop back seats and lower front passenger seat to lay flat back as you can. Fold mattress. Ive had a dismantled cabin bed and mattress in the boot of a scenic which is a very similar size

CommanderShepard · 14/01/2013 11:51

If I can get one in a Polo you can get one in a Zafira.

Lonelybunny · 14/01/2013 11:52

Lol @ commander - that is impressive - right I'm gonna get it tomorrow :)

I got a dismantled single bed without mattress into my Yaris - seats down, long sections diagonally across. It wasn't easy but we did it so it should be doable in yours.

TraineeBabyCatcher · 14/01/2013 11:58

We've had a double bed headboard in a clio (as one complete section). So yeah I think you'll manage it.

CommanderShepard · 14/01/2013 12:01

It might help that I am short so have to drive with the seat as far forward as it'll go and thus my car always has loads of room Grin

lovelyladuree · 14/01/2013 12:02

You will, easily. I got a 6' X 4' train layout in mine, with a passenger.

Stacebabes · 10/08/2014 13:58

Hmm I'm going to and fit a dismantled double bed, dismantled single bed and a single mattress in my Clio! Wonder if it works (: xx
