it's not the ad. it's the woman in it who sits on the bed with her arms outretched and say "uh. gimme" like a fucking baby!
you are a grown woman!

it irritates the fuck out of me so much so that the dcs know to change the channel when it comes on.

rant over. as you were.

As soon as I saw the title I thought, I bet it's the stupid gimmie woman. I'd switch away from Lenor on that basis tbh.

YANBU

I have found myself mumbling "prat" when it comes on.

YesAnastasia · 11/01/2013 14:50

haha!!! So do I. I even pointed her out to DH the other day.

It's also annoying that the other woman says "NO WAY" like she's been tricked or something. It's not that unbelievable that it still smells fresh if no one slept in it ffs!

Booyhoo · 11/01/2013 14:52

also, is it bad dubbing or was it filmed in another language? some of these people aren't saying the words their lips are.

Gives me the rage Angry

I cannot stand adults doing baby speak Envy Angry

Also; people who say "Men! What are they like?!"
About looking at porn, not 'seeing' household shit work that needs to be done, or any twatishness really.

Boys will be boys,

and people who say 'naughty' about food.

I am a mardy arse today!

Spice17 · 11/01/2013 14:53

'I'll sleep here, right here right now!' Stupid bloody Americans

MarcelineTheVampireQueen · 11/01/2013 14:55

Its the guy in the middle that says "Lenor?" with a quizzical look on his face. It doesnt look like he is saying Lenor at all! Every time we see it, DP and I say "blablay?" cos thats the shaoe his mouth makes.

The Gimme woman at the end makes me want to punch myself, it makes me so irrational.....

Booyhoo · 11/01/2013 15:02

this has cheered me up that others share my rage!

ds lifted lenor in asda on monday and said "we have to get this because it keeps your bed clean all week"

"yes ds, but it doesn't hoover up your biscuit crumbs dry up your juice stains, remove your biro and felt tip marks, dust off the gravelly bits that have fallen off your shoes as you dumoed them on your bed or catche the drool that pours out of your mouth nightly. you'll still need to change your sheets"

is what i felt like replying Grin

the word lenor now provokes an inner rage.

Gimme woman gives me the rage too. Mainly because my sister (a forty something grown woman) also says this (way before the ad) in a little baby voice if she sees something she likes. This can be in either of our houses or in a shop and each time it makes me want to snap.

She has also been known to cradle a new purchase such as a pair of new shoes and say "Look at my beautiful new ickle babies" if she really loves it.

She is a very high level, high earning professional.

Booyhoo · 11/01/2013 15:09

eugh! lambzig. i would find that hard to listen to. like an itch that needed punched scratched.

*disclaimer: i do not punch people, nor do i advocate punching people. Grin

i hate having to use so many disclaimers on here nowadays. people used to just get that you weren't being serious.
