to think you need a restraining order to stop people coming near you

and you cant just tell them not to come near you or you will have them arrested

sil and bil (dh's brother) are splitting up, shes been to mil and shouted abuse at her, including saying she would burn her house down and burn bils truck out

she had an argument with dh about how we raise our children, she thinks children should be seen and not heard therefore our children are wild (they are just young children, they are loud and full of energy) and ended up punching him in the mouth, dh did not retaliate, he walked away

she text abuse to my other sil

we have all been told, by her that we are not allowed on her front street (bil's house) or she will have us arrested and we are not allowed in the shop she works in

she cant do that can she?

Why do you want to go anywhere near her?

WorraLiberty · 08/01/2013 23:37

Not legally but why would you want to go near her anyway?

Redbindy · 08/01/2013 23:38

you could report her to the police for assault and threatening behavior.

mamamibbo · 08/01/2013 23:39

i dont want to, she is still living with bil atm and means none of his family can go to his house, dh had to drop something off tonight so bil met him at the top of the street. she works at the local supermarket so i wouldtnt be able to do my shopping either :-/

If anyone needs to be subject to a restraining order, it's her!

SecretNutellaFix · 08/01/2013 23:40

actually- I would second reporting her.

mamamibbo · 08/01/2013 23:42

I honestly think she is having some kind of breakdown

You need to get something in writing about the assault, a report definitely.

WorraLiberty · 08/01/2013 23:44

You can go into whatever shop you want

But I second reporting her, otherwise she may well try to turn the tables and report you instead.
