I used to rate her quite highly as an actress, have really enjoyed some of her films but, and I admit I don't know much about it, the tsunami film seems unnecessary as does the Diana film.

Why make films about real people and events which might be upsetting to so many people when there are so many other good stories, I think it shows very bad judgement. And films where you are basically basically impersonating or "interpreting" someone' s life, I just don't see the artistic merit.

I agree with you OP, I dont think either of these films will enhance her career.

Maybe she just did them for the money.

I think she's a great actress who chooses roles that challenge her. She doesn't let herself be typecast that's for sure.
