I have just realised I am sitting here partially watching total shite on t.v., on a Friday night, whilst lurking on an (somewhat addictive)internet forum...ten years ago I was ragging it madly abroad...I wouldn't change my life for the world, but does anyone ever have these Friday night 'pangs', or aibu?..

Well, it could be said that we're all sat here doing that, so why would anyone YANBU you, because we'd be YABU. Er.

On the other hand, I know what you mean, but I don't get pangs because I was a no-nothing benighted fool way back when, and I'm slightly less befuddled nowadays.

I don't have Friday night pangs.

I do have Sunday morning pangs though, that involve lie-ins, coffee in bed and then actually getting to read the sodding paper before all the news in it is completely out of date!

Yeah, I do too. Wouldn't swap what I have, but those days were fun...

I am up with a teething one year old and knowing ill be up very early in the morning. Pre dd id be in bed, squiffy from wine, knowing all I had to do tomorrow would be to stagger to McDonalds for a quarter pound of hangover cure.

I dusted off a favourite bag as we went out tonight.
Reminded me of when I had money (or spent like I did!).

I remembered trying to fit two packs of cigarettes and my phone in. Tonight it had two different sized nappies in it!

Wouldn't go back to those days, but would quite like one of those nights out every now and then- minus the hangover.

I know!! I settled as tonight and came down to discover dp watching bolt! Really?
