I know AIBU, I know this has been done to death, but if anyone else tells me I'm enormous with a shocked face - I WILL cry.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I'm FED UP of people telling me how big I am. I'm fed up of shocked looks when I say how far along I am.

Firstly, I'm really not that enormous. I'm going to get a lot fucking bigger in the next eight weeks, believe me. And if my stomach does stick out somewhat, it's probably because I was a bit fat before I got pregnant!

Next time a random stranger tells me with hushed awe that my child will be enormous, can I say that? "Actually, DS1 was fairly small. I'm just fat, thanks for pointing it out".

And if anyone else asks if I'm sure I'm not carrying twins, I think no judge in the land will hold me accountable for my subsequent actions.

I realise that this post makes me sound unhinged. It's just so fucking rude and I am exceptionally touchy atm.

MY cousins wife said to me two days before DS was born 'AHAHAHA!!! You're fucking HUGE! Are you sure it isn't twins?' I remember smiling tightly, then walking away, shoulders shuddering, silently crying.

As for the wanker who said 'You're much, much, MUCH bigger than your SIL' (SIL was 3 weeks more pregnant than I). I fantasise about reaching into the past, grabbing him by the throat and saying 'You're bigger than I was at 40 weeks. What's your fucking excuse, you rude twat?'

I'm 34 wks with twins and TBH actually having twins doesn't help with the comments. I still feel like shit when people tell me I am enormous. And I am nervous enough about coping without all the Shock faces.

Did I wrote this post in my sleep? :-) 36 weeks and I swear if the women in the local shop don't stop saying " are you still going, thought you'd have had it by now, your massive" I'll commit bloody murder. Oh and the are you really sure it's not twins is enough to say bollocks. Food luck and totally get where you're coming from.

Yanbu! I'm 24 weeks and get loads of comments like this. Why is it always strangers? A temp at work said she thought I looked ready to drop..two weeks ago! I was 22 weeks! Shock yes I was size 14 when I got pregnant and carry my weight at the front but I'm not that big! I've only gained 2lb!!!! Too many exclamation marks...sorry. I think the worst thing is you can't just tell them to naff off, you're meant to be a delighted Mum to be Hmm

YANBU.

I went into a shop when I was 3 days overdue so I was quite big but the shop assistant said to me "oh my god, I would be so scared if I got that big!, is it your first?" I said no then she said "was your first baby massive?" I just mumbled I think. I wish I had said DID YOU MEAN TO BE SO RUDE?!

Hi thermal - I know it's been two weeks since you last posted but I just wanted to say that I had my 28wk MW appt this morning and I was measuring 27.5cms. I no longer feel massive (even though a lady opposite me on the train home last night assumed I was near my due date Hmm) - I feel very proud of my lovely big bump and silghtly scared as I'd forgotten just how big baby bumps do get!

Hope you're blooming anyway :)
