Or will I burn it off ??

Hmmm.

I have a lump on the (sorry way too much information but if you're going to share you might as well do it properly) flap where I shaved the other day so I'm assuming it must be an ingrown hair ... (and not something nasty...gulp...maybe doctors?)

There's no "head". But it's sore and swollen. And feels like an ingrown hair when I've had one before.

Ideas ?

Or should I dab some spot cream on it and hope it brings it out ?

Yes agree ingrowing hair. Have u had it in same spot before? Try hot bath and a squeeze or mirror and tweezers.

Fairylea · 02/01/2013 18:50

I've been squeezing and squeezing but nothing :(

Tweezers is a good idea :)

Could it be a Bartholin's cyst? Maybe a trip to the GP/GUM to be sure?

thebody · 02/01/2013 18:54

Stop squeezing if its not squeezable.. Leave it and see what happens.

Fairylea · 02/01/2013 19:15

Never heard of that type of cyst...I will go and Google and visit GP tomorrow.

I have left it now... it's bloody sore now I've poked it about! Yeah I know how rudethat sounded.....

Buzzzzzzzzz

Fairylea · 02/01/2013 19:24

Thanks solesource :) I guess my fanjo lump isn't that klaxon like... !

I don't think it's one of those cysts. It's tiny and hard... like a pea sized thing.

I am worried it's something really nasty. But I've only noticed it the last few days.... I keep thinking if I was hairy down there I wouldn't have even known about it. Hmm.

I think it sounds like an ingrowing hair. I'm sure in the next few days or so you will be able to get it out with tweezers.

Lucky escape

Pheeeew!

You get to live anotber day!!

:)

You need magnesium sulphate to bring it out. Spot cream will dry it up - with the hair in perhaps.
