I cannot stand the wet leggings look. It really should only be worn by tall and thin people.

Also knee/thigh high boots.

And crop tops.

And shorts with your bum cheeks hanging out.

Definitely each to their own

(As I'm guilty of wearing uggs (definitely function over fashion), chelsea boots and I love my Barbour coat, which I know a majority of people hate)

so what fashion do you hate?

noddy - yep to this "Anything rock and roll if you aren't that looks mumsy imo "

I hate anything that has been mummed-up. Biker boots that have been made all polite by Clarks with a slim heel, thin straps and a mild pointed toe. UGH.

And the fashion for big, long hair on all teenage girls. I saw a teenager with a crop the other day, she looked outstanding. This hyper-femininity thing is so crap. I was so lucky to be a teenager-of-grunge.

I'm partial to a Barbour international, mind

EndoplasmicReticulum · 01/01/2013 16:53

Boys in those brown trousers hanging down low so they look like a toddler with a full nappy.

Uggs, and those fat flip-flop things.

Leggings worn as trousers.

PrincessAnastasia · 01/01/2013 16:53

I'm no teenager, but I do love my long hair. It just suits me so much more.

I don't have the face/cheekbones for a crop cut.

See through plastic bra straps worn with a strapless dress. They are not invisible. We can see them. You may as well have worn a red bra.

PrincessAnastasia · 01/01/2013 16:58

I completely forgot that one. They give me rage!

My DD is sporting cropped hair atm. I think she's the only girl in her high school with short hair.

VerySmallSqueak · 01/01/2013 16:59

Anything with the Playboy logo.

mrscynical · 01/01/2013 17:03

I don't know why but - I shall now get hideously flamed - I always feel sorry for women in Uggs (or the fakes) as I assume they are not having a sex life (or one that's remotely satisfying) and prospects for that in the future appear very, very bleak.

However, a woman in animal print/satin/sheer/shiny screams that she is very happy in that department.

Don't know why but that's what the differing 'looks' say to me. Bit of a cliche I suppose.

noddyholder · 01/01/2013 17:04

A couple of ds friends (18) have pixie cuts atm after years of long hair and they look great.

BelaLugosisShed · 01/01/2013 17:04

Bloody onesies, teenagers looking like giant toddlers.
My 15 year old nephew has an elephant one, what self respecting teenager would be seen dead in it? He's 6ft tall and looks ridiculous, SIL thinks he's cute in it, he just looks a right knob.

Inertia · 01/01/2013 17:04

Well, I am hideously unfashionable but that's because I dislike a lot of stuff that's fashionable.

I don't like :

Fake tan
anything animal print
Artificial hair
Anything with skulls on
Skinny jeans
Frills / bow bedecked / fussily printed blouses
Thin heels
Ballet pump style shoes
Knitted boots
Off the shoulder anything
Very pale lipstick ( especially with orange fake tan face )

PickledInAPearTree · 01/01/2013 17:04

Haha! I'm sitting here in uggs 33 wks pregnant. If I saw a willy I would cry!

They are all I can stagger about in right now Grin

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/01/2013 17:08
Grin
mrscynical · 01/01/2013 17:09

Oh Pickled, you are excused then.

I assume you weren't wearing them when you conceived...

I advise ditching them before your baby is 6 months old though!

Moistenedbint · 01/01/2013 17:11

""Well, I am hideously unfashionable but that's because I dislike a lot of stuff that's fashionable.""

Same here inertia

AllSnowballsAndNoKnickers · 01/01/2013 17:11

Rock chick style on anyone over 25/bigger than a size 10! Tops with stupid fantasy animal faces on. Tops with stupid oversized LSD-hallucination flowers on. Tops with chains and studs on. Those weird trousers that young men of a certain socio-economic group wear - elasticated bottoms, too short, thick white socks and cheap trainers. What's with those trousers? DH calls them 'shit-keppers' Grin and he's right - you could take a crap in them and it wouldn't fall out!

noddyholder · 01/01/2013 17:12

I have uggs on today and leggings [shock} with a stripy t shirt that does not cover my arse No shortage of sex though

mrsjay · 01/01/2013 17:13

men in pointy shoes tbh I think i have a weird phobia about them saw a guy with a point so pointy it could probably impale somebody I shuddered Blush

PickledInAPearTree · 01/01/2013 17:13

The way I feel right now ill be getting buried in 'em! Grin

fluffyraggies · 01/01/2013 17:13

Oh the bloody stupid extreme side parting/solid wall of fringe/comb-over hair do thing. They're like clones!

Complete with 'dolefull expression looking up into the camera, plastered in make up in the gloom' picture that ALL my DDs friends have of themselves on FB .....

mymatemax · 01/01/2013 17:14

& bloody disney or cartoon characters on adults (in fact anyone over 5)
Why do they even make them in adult sizes?

PrincessAnastasia · 01/01/2013 17:17

But I wear uggs and my leopard print jeans. What would happen if I wore them at the same time?

I love my sex life, and have no complaints in that department. My OH loves me to wear my uggs whilst we do the nasty.

disclaimer: the last sentence may be a lie.

OP posts:
Shutupanddrive · 01/01/2013 17:18

YY to animal print! Hate that
Jeans/trousers that are 2 inches too short (ankle flappers. My mum is the worst for this!)
Men in jeans and a suit jacket. Either wear a suit or don't Angry
I am guilty of loving my Uggs and skinny jeans though, but I have a top covering my bum and don't do leggings.

sarahtigh · 01/01/2013 17:19

leggings, jeggings (worse) most skinnies ( well they are fine if yuo are under 12)

these are ok with long tops. short dresses but yukkkkkk as replacement trousers

ripped jeans, jeans with crotch at the knees,

underwear as outerwear or showing

trainers with heels/wedges

tracksuits when not actually doing sport

hunter wellies when owner would almost cry if they got muddy

"heroin chic"

rings on more than 3 fingers
