Perhaps the baby will make them grow up a bit. To be fair lots of so called middle class parents in their 30's with good jobs smoke weed, do coke etc and noone bats an eyelid then.

Everlong, I beg to differ, if she is smOking to it can cause serious problems for the baby. But you are right when you say there is worse stuff out there. Poor baby really, not a great start to life.

As everlong said a lot of highly sucessful people take drugs (although of course it's not what you'd wish for around a baby) so it doesn't mean they can't suceed in life.

At least it's just pot and nothing stronger

Hopefully they will knock it on the head now there is a baby on the way but whilst it's not perfect it's not the worst thing in the world. Will the baby be loved? Are they secure in their relationship and circumstances?

It is ok I knew what you meant I am tactless sometimes and i may have text something really foot in mouth,

someone i am very close to smokes weed all day long and has a 60k job in the city. smoking doesn't make you a loser. I've known many people who are regular smokers and it doesn't stop them functioning at all. some people actually need some sort of sedative just to get through the day. its not always a case of being monged out and useless. You probably know many people like this yourself, they just haven't told you, so its worth keeping an open mind.
