We passed a Prius (pious) yesterday sporting a bumper sticker which declared in a multi-Pastel hues "born at home". AIBU to think this may be the smuggest car in Great Britain and should fuck off. (Lighthearted thread. Smile)

i might make one that says 'nearly died but for modern medicine! [Praise the Lord]'.

:)

(Have decided not to get offended / upset and to celebrate the happy births that many have.)

I also thought it meant home birth for a baby. So it does refer to a home birth. It will be I'm a velcro baby next.

YANBU

I'm with Eugusta sans the 'praise the Lord' and the addition of something that would make this thread un-lighthearted.

Stupid rainbow bumper sticker Prius owning half wits Xmas Smile

I am slightly gobsmacked at the need to tell random strangers on the motorway that your baby was born at home.

Did they have a conception one as well?

I'd like one that read : I'm here because of cheap Thai whiskey and skinny dipping!

When I was a baby my sign would have read
"Experiment in the safe period method of contraception on board"

However, given everyones different birth experiences, perhaps our stickers should simply say

"Hurray for the NHS!"

You know that "born at home" sticker linked to earlier in the thread, did anyone read the description?

"Support homebirth and wilderness conservation with this sticker!"

Wilderness conservation?!

Why is it smug? Does it in any way proclaim that they are superior?

I think some of you have issues.
