(purely out of interest/boredem)

I can't sleep. I did a silly thing this morning and had a lay in. I didn't have ds and so didn't set my alarm. I woke at 1:15pm (i don't think I've done that since I, well, never, probably not even as a teen, my mother would never have allowed it).
Now I'm paying the consequences, I've been in bed since 11pm and I'm wide awake. I've tossed and turned, I put the telly on, I've read, I've laid like a plank etc but alas nothing.

Why are you awake?

Oh and good luck pogobob! Grin

PogoBob · 30/12/2012 05:17

Thanks Brighton -- If I could just get DD back ro sleep I'd get some rest to prepare for full labour!

MrsNPattz · 30/12/2012 05:36

Feeding 3.5 month old!

Good luck Pogo!

My sleep pattern has been permanently out of kilter since I had DC. I used to sleep through thunderstorms, now DH turning over in bed is enough to wake me up. :) Bearing in mind how many mums with new babies are posting, I will refrain from adding how old my 'DC' are now Xmas Wink

I slept for an hour between 12 and 1. I've been up since as I can't sleep. I've cleaned the house (which took ages as I was trying to be quiet!), had a bath, shaved my legs, packed for our new years eve trip (which we are leaving for at ten) and am now back in bed willing myself to drop off for a couple of hours.

I am up, so I can get ready for work. Hooray Hmm Grin.

Been on a night out and I never sleep well when I've had a drink, even though I'm shattered.

Marking my place for Pogobob birth thread Grin. Keep us updated.

Insomnia and sinusitis. Feel dreadful, dh woke me when he came to bed and has been snoring on and off ever since. He'd better make me tea when he wakes up.

Loveweekends10 · 30/12/2012 07:45

Been awake since 5. Pure insomnia habit. Would be an ideal time for lie in as both kids out on sleepover. So annoying. Grrr.

Yankeecandlequeen · 30/12/2012 08:01

been awake since 7. 4 yr old DS proclaiming he wants breakfast. Realised DH was in the living room so told him to go see his dad! I'm in bed, pottering on the net. Warned my kids NOT to get up early as since Christmas eve they've been up too early (oldest 2 are 10 & 8 so no need to get up so early) and I've had my brother & kids over till yesterday & his kids are no damn noisy & wake about 6am every morning.
