For one partner to say to the other 'can you wipe that properly please'?

Was in kitchen, dropped a bit of gravy on counter, wiped it up with soggyish cloth, which left a bit of a trail of water...which prompted the above comment.

Totally impossible to answer this without context as to the rest of the relationship, who does what, etc.

But I personally think it's not unreasonable.

It's always unreasonable to not clean/tidy up after yourself properly in the first place.

And if you don't, then you can't complain if someone picks you up on it.

That's my rule anyway!
