We've had a lovely day. DC didn't wake up till nearly 7. PIL came over as instructed (time wise) and helped w DC so we could get lunch sorted. There was minimal undermining our parenting (I'm not one for letting DD (4) off naughty behaviour just cos it's Christmas, it only makes it harder work aftErwards. We still need boundaries/consequences.PIL don't agree with this.). PIL also gave us a hand setting table last night when they dropped off presents. So they've been great. DC have been hyper all day though, and I'm knackered. About to go and tidy up the mountain of wrapping paper and find homes for new toys.
