Don't know about AIBU to YANBU tbh.
But how are you actually alive?

RudeolfsHappyFlapper · 25/12/2012 17:31

Well that's healthy! Grin
I do envy your constitution.

RudeolfsHappyFlapper · 25/12/2012 17:33

I've been drinking very very slowly, with plenty of food. I started feeling sleepy about 3pm, so started ringing family..

Give your teeth a good brush later as Schnapps contains lots of sugar I believe... Other than that, YADNBU it is delicious.

Coffee makes me poorly these days Xmas Sad bad indigestion and head aches. I am really pissed off about that! I prefer coffee to booze!!

I stopped drinking coffee a few months ago..

RudeolfsHappyFlapper · 25/12/2012 17:44

Why coffee? Same reasons as me.. I was hitting it hard. No Milk for me.. Even when I had a cold I was putting Beechams in with my black coffee..

I was living on the stuff. Espresso, no sugar.
Got bad headaches though and bad stomach ache.
So tried having tea instead and that was that.
miss a lot, but don't want to risk it.
And my skin looks so much better..

coffeeinbed · 25/12/2012 17:53

So yes, same reasons... Grin

RudeolfsHappyFlapper · 25/12/2012 17:55

It's the stomach ache that upset me the most, it was like every single bit of food that i'd eaten was weighing a ton. Horrible! Miss it, just like you, but had enough of the pain. Mad really, the stuff's legal..

How do you get on with caffeine in the tea? So far i've only been brave enough to go decaff..

What I miss most is the ritual in the morning - the machine running, my favourite cup.
I have a lovely blue cup for espresso.
But it's worth it, the stomach ache was bad, as you say.

coffeeinbed · 25/12/2012 18:00

Fine with the tea even though people say it's the same amount of caffeine.
Funny that.
Can't stand decaff, sorry...

RudeolfsHappyFlapper · 25/12/2012 18:08

Well, tbh, It's only been about a week for me. So at least I can tell myself I can be a tea addict in the new year. I do like to brew mine for at least 10mins tho..

Ah!
The first couple of days were the worst for me, but then I still had the headache so then being headache free was bliss!
It's worth it.
Cheers Rudolf!
