Slightly confused. Have woken up this morning, twas all normal christmassy stuff. Quick glance out window shows that there is a christmas tree on top of our car. Not tyed on, just balanced at odd angle on the roof. I'm bamboozled, what the hell is it doing there?! It's quite a nice one actually, with a little bit of tinselly stuff tyed onto the bottom bit. I thought maybe the hubby had gone out last night and got it, only we have our own christmas tree here and he said he'd never seen it before... I'm really quite perplexed, the kids have been out there looking for a note or something but so far nothing. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? Have I sleep driven somewhere and stolen some poor blokes tree?? Has some poor bloke sleep driven here and given us HIS tree??? Has anyone else had this? We're in the general portsmouth area, is this perhaps yuletide pranksters? Is there a new practice called "treeing?" Should I take it inside or is that technically considered theft? Most importantly what the hell should I do with it?!?! Confused I'll upload a picture and link in two tics.

Drunken laugh? I've seen similar things after the Christmas Eve drinks

I'm rather scared that some random person will appear and start screaming at me for stealing their christmas or something :S

How odd!

Oh.....I think it's my tree?!?! Our outdoor tree with lots of "classy" white lights went missing last night and they have taken my bloody pot too!! Are you in South Wales by any chance??

TheHoneyDragonsDrunkInTheIvy · 25/12/2012 12:31

Maybe it's migrating early? No wait, that's birds.

The tree has clearly escaped from somewhere. It was hoping your car would act as a getaway car.

Ilovecake1 Nope, portsmouth, and no lights but the tinsel is white?

The local pub is missing it's tree.

Hi Pine, well that makes me feel a bit better.....I can now picture my lovely tree in someone's garden/ forest/ orchard rather than on top of a car! Lol.
