Have you got anything planned?

You and the rest of us with the money thing.

SoleSource · 24/12/2012 17:14

I had some money once.

It was on the 24th of September 1994, and lasted for 1 hour 40 mins Grin

SoleSource · 24/12/2012 17:15

Lol Agent. You remind me of Hully ::):)

All year I think

AgentZigzagHasABigYuleLog · 24/12/2012 17:15

Same as us then, just DDs, DH, me and whatever bollocks is on the box Smile

NettoHoHoHoSuperstar · 24/12/2012 17:15

You can buy pickled onion cheese all year round.

No blardy money here either and DD managed to lose £20 so I'm incredibly pissed off with her.

SoleSource · 24/12/2012 17:16

What did you buy, Agent? Grin

OP posts:
TeeElfOnTeeShelf · 24/12/2012 17:16

What do you need besides you, your son, TV and food? Okay, a gift or two would be nice, I'm sure. But still...

AgentZigzagHasABigYuleLog · 24/12/2012 17:17

'You remind me of Hully'

I'll take that as a compliment shall I? Grin

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 24/12/2012 17:19

Sole you should of said before I would of sent you something little to open. Am very cross with you that you've only said now.

I bought myself a lovely wooly long cardi, have wrapped it up for myself Grin

AgentZigzagHasABigYuleLog · 24/12/2012 17:20

That may not have been the exact date Grin but I went round town with £1700 (a lot of money last century) in my handbag that I'd drawn from the bank to pay for a motorbike - not for me though Sad

I felt very vulnerable and probably looked right shifty Grin

AgentZigzagHasABigYuleLog · 24/12/2012 17:21

Is the twenty quid just mislaid Netto, or lost for good?

That's shite if it's the latter.

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 24/12/2012 17:27

What have you bought ds?

mypussyiscalledCaramel · 24/12/2012 17:36

I would love to have christmas with just me, DS and the TV. Unfortunately I can't, this may be the last one my Mum sees and I have to go round there to be all nice to my sister for her sake.

To top it all off a family friend had to go into hospital today and is probably staying in overnight.

Bah Humbug to crappy christmasses.

NettoHoHoHoSuperstar · 24/12/2012 17:44

Lost for good Agent, it's not the end of the world, we have everything we need but still can't really afford to lose £20.
That said, I got my MN Appeal gift today, which was a £40 Tesco giftcard so that softened the blow and I know DD didn't mean it.

SoleSource · 24/12/2012 17:54

NettoHoHoHoSuperstar · 24/12/2012 17:57

We don't do parties or visitors either, it's just me and DD, but we manage to have fun.
Put on music/Christmas TV/play games.

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 24/12/2012 18:05

I get really down and jealous at nye. I don't have a babysitter and none of my friends really have dc or if they do parents look after them. I will have nothing to do and no one to celebrate it with. Thinking of having a movie might with dc and letting them stay up to see big Ben strike 12, but actually they annoy me and I like them in bed!

Aww presents sound good, now did you buy yourself chocolate and booze?

BattlingFanjos · 24/12/2012 20:50

I'm the same! I have £12 (woo!) fir another 2 weeks and not very much food in (refuse to actually check). Going to mums for dinner/tea tomorrow but now that is tainted (chips well and truly pissed on)but sod it!! Its Christmas, got my ds, my health and half a box of quality street. Save the blues for January!

BrusselSproutsFartyPants · 25/12/2012 00:25

I have been feeling like that all day!

Poor DD1 had a bit of a crap birthday but she said she enjoyed it, though I think she was just being nice as I have cried on more than one occasion!

Basically this weekend I have lost my purse with bank card, driving licence and 17 tickets to the cinema! My DDad has been admitted to hospital needing a triple heart bypass and exh asked to give DDs presents from us both and I think he is not talking to me again cos he hasn't tried phoning DD1 (his SDD but still!)

I am now sat with a very large glass of baileys about to wrap the rest of the Christmas presents. I really hope it is all worth it!
