My neighbour who is extremely nosy and does spread a lot of gossip posted on facebook that someone had posted a wooden spoon through her door.

Now that is clever. No shitty note from an aggrieved neighbour, just a rather subtle joke. Although she clearly doesn't get it, otherwise she wouldn't have posted that on Facebook I assume.

BumpingFuglies I've just remembered we have a friend who is the nosiest gossip I've ever met. A couple of months ago she was telling some gossip to DP, who looked a bit (not at what she was saying, but why she'd chosen to say it). In fact he was so that he said to her that he wouldn't spread gossip like that. Her reaction? "I don't gossip" and "I'm not a gossip", repeated ad nauseum for the rest of the evening.

She's a perfect candidate . I don't think I could actually bring myself to post her a wooden spoon though!
