to feel sorry for the guy on the packed train who was treating us all to the benefit of his very loud phone call...

I'm a commuter. Usually people who make loud phone calls on the train really get on my wick. Tonight was very aggravated because this guy woke me up he was so loud...

but, bless him, it was clearly a phone call from a girl who had just dumped him. He was saying 'I don't want to be friends, I've got friends, why are you calling me? Don't call me, I don't want to be your friend'. Bless his cotton socks, he was getting really upset. As I was getting off I passed him, so leaned over and told him it would be OK.

One guy I'd been seeing for a few weeks once dumped me (well, stopped answering my calls), text me out of the blue 3 months later to ask to meet up then told me it wasn't working and it was over Hmm He said "Can we still be friends?" I huffed "We were never friends to begin with" and flounced off Grin
