"The tongue-in-cheek footage shows that the women can juggle cooking, cleaning and reading Fifty Shades of Grey around running 'six people's lives' - and still being sexy." Jesus wept.

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2012 20:06

It's for a good cause. That's the best thing I can say I think. Confused And their poor children. They could be Mnetters but would you confess if it was you?

gordyslovesheep · 21/12/2012 20:07

bloody awful and about 764537389 parodies too late!

MistletoeAndTomHardyPlease · 21/12/2012 20:07

I think that's the best comment Mistletoe, we'll stick with that.

gordyslovesheep · 21/12/2012 20:13

I hate to be evil Dr Cunty but how is it raising money - it's very 'ohhh look at us doing something for charity' but you don't have to donate to watch it - maybe the time would be better spent doing some volunteering

reminds me of this Grin

VivaLeBeaver · 21/12/2012 20:15

Yes, I don't understand how it's raising money. Sorry, but it is a bit cringy.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 21/12/2012 20:17

A man on fb I am friends with has posted it and his comment was "Like!". EW!!!!

MistletoeAndTomHardyPlease · 21/12/2012 20:18

Its very, very cringy!

Honestly, this type of shit should be illegal. I saw the stills I am not going to give them the clicks.

How is this raising money?

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2012 20:23

I think you have to go to their Justgiving page.

Bella88 · 21/12/2012 20:34

Utterly toe curling.

Catherine1017 · 21/12/2012 20:57

Sparklingbrook: "Their poor children"?

As a child of one of the mums in the video, I can tell you that you really don't have to worry about us!

We're all really proud of our wonderful mums for getting involved with something Christmassy that was a bit of fun to try and raise money for a really important charity.

And to those who have asked about how it is making money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer - there is a JustGiving page that is promoted alongside the video link and in the various articles on the video that have been published today.

Merry Christmas to all! Xmas Smile

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2012 21:00

Well I am glad you are ok Catherine. If it was my Mum I would be cringing I think. I totally get that it was a bit of fun though.

Flossiechops · 21/12/2012 21:01

Load of bastards you are, that's me at the front. The good looking one Shock

VelvetSpoon · 21/12/2012 21:03

I want their kitchen Blush

MarcelineTheVampireQueen · 21/12/2012 21:04

I commend anyone that raises money and awareness of anything worthwhile but did it have to be so..I dont know the right word?

Mopping? Getting dinner on? Reading 50 shades of shit? Is that all women do?

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2012 21:05

Only if you have 'Housewife Style' Marceline. Wink

BettySuarez · 21/12/2012 21:07

Who cares whether it's cringy or not? Hardly the point and they've raised over £2500 so far

You miserable lot Grin

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2012 21:09

Oh I don't mean to be miserable, I really don't. But I have DSs aged 13 and 10 and if I hear bloody Gangnam Style once more........

TiggerWearsATriteSmile · 21/12/2012 21:09

I expected it to be worse, it's not that bad.

CaliforniaSucksSnowballs · 21/12/2012 21:11

Well done to them for raising money. I haven't seen it unless someone wants to link it for me.

SamuelWestsMistress · 21/12/2012 21:14

Well it's better than the world ending!

Tortington · 21/12/2012 21:15

i saw the stills and thought how bloody depressing - housewife style - mop, cooking, 50 shades of cliche, then i watched the vid and saw what a pisstake and self parody it was and thought - good for you!

CaliforniaSucksSnowballs · 21/12/2012 21:18

OK I am bloody slow today, I just saw the link in the first post and watched, it was really funny, and my 7 year old wanted me to play it again, LOL It got her approval.
