It is absolutely bucketing it down today. My umbrella was in the car, where I left it after using it for the school run this morning. DH has been off work all week but is going in to London today for a work christmas lunch so therefore walking to the station and walking the other end. He couldn't find any of the other many umbrellas that we usually have knocking around the house. The reason for this is because he has taken them all to work over the last two weeks and either left them somewhere or lost them.
So on his way out, he went and retrieved my umbrella out of the car, without saying anything to me about it, and went on his way.
I realised what he was doing when it was too late and called him to rant at him. I now have to go and buy another one otherwise I'm going to get wet when I do the school-run and everything else that I need to do today. He says that I'm being ridiculous as I have the car and I can't expect him to walk the 10 mins to the station and the 10 mins the other end in the rain without an umbrella. But the point is that he had tons of umbrellas and he has lost them all and now he's robbed my one. And will no doubt lose that too.
I realise that it's a very trivial thing to be annoyed about and this post is somewhat tongue in cheek but DH is a bloody pain in the arse all the same.
