I've got plans you see and wanted to schedule them around the apocalypse. You'd think the Mayans would have narrowed it down to a time slot wouldn't you? Like delivery drivers?

Is anyone else thinking that if they were in charge of the BBC news website they'd have had some fun today?

SchroSawMummyRidingSantaClaus · 21/12/2012 12:10

Yeah Murder, can't stop being sick but I think I am still alive! Grin Seen the BBC thing, that.was brilliant.

Took the dog for a walk with the dc's. We stopped counted down from ten and it was all a bit of an anti climax.

I did yell

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaargh. Its Darren, the Postman of the apocalpse!!!!!" As he cycled toward us, but he didn't whip out a parcel tube or shut down the sun or anything. But I felt it was appropriate.

sieglinde · 21/12/2012 12:22

Oh, look. The world is still here :)

GreatCongas · 21/12/2012 12:41

I wish I had been there to see it honey dragon

Uppermid · 21/12/2012 14:43

Maybe they got the time wrong and its 11pm not am, however making a prediction thousands of years ago must be pretty tricky Grin

SirCliffRichardSucksEggsInHell · 21/12/2012 14:46

Can I ask those who were truly scared about this happening to please see someone about their anxiety levels. Because this will happen again, there will be another prediction and whilst it's fine to feel some level of anxiety over things we cannot control and the thought of death, it's not fine if it means you frighten children and other people and are unable to function properly because of it.

This incident should highlight that some people's anxiety levels are a little out of control and they need some outside help.

Thankfully I was with a friend when the world ended and she managed to stop me from calling my family to tell them what I thought of them. Bugger.
