strange person stealing clothes and shoes?

In March, I had a night out with one of the girls at work. I worked a later shift than her and so decided to get changed at work and go straight out.

We have to wear a uniform at work, and we are given lockers but I lost my locker key ages ago so don't use it. I left my uniform, pair of jeans and a flat black pair of shoes on a chair in the locker room.

Came in the next day and they had disappeared.

Very odd. The jeans were Topshop and so were the shoes, the jeans had a rip in too. I complained as I needed a new uniform but there wasn't much they could do. There are no security cameras in the locker room.

Cut forward to this week. My friend leaves her clothes in the locker room, comes in the next day (she doesn't lock her locker) and finds all her clothes thrown around the room and her shoes stolen.

The shoes had the sole hanging off.

aibu to think this is just odd. Who would steal second hand clothes, they were broken and ripped?

I could understand a handbag or designer clothes being stolen but this?!

Might it be a bloke with a shoe and jeans fetish? Womens shoes go for a bomb on eBay if they're used and sweaty!

Eww. Really?

We have separate locker rooms at work. So if it was a man he would be taking quite a risk and wouldn't know for sure that there were clothes in there.

Also the locker room is next door to one of the main offices.

If they were lying out maybe the cleaner binned them?
