I had a Puffin Post subscription to Puffin Post last year which my dd loved so I renewed it this year on 11th November. About a week later, I had a general not personal email saying the name Puffin Post was returning to Penguin and therefore the magazine wouldn't be continuing. I have rang them twice and emailed and they said I would be refunded by 14th December. it's the 19th and I have still not received a refund. They send me a letter last week and an email saying they would be sending me a cheque. No cheque enclosed just a letter saying they would send a cheque! I just want them to put the money back on my card, but when I spoke to them and a manager, no one apparently has the authority to do this! It's £45 which would be useful to have back before Christmas! And even if a cheque arrives, I will have to make a 20 mile round trip to pay it into a bank.
