She can sing, write great songs and she is extremely intelligent. She was in her 4th year at uni, studying medicine when she decide to try to become a pop star.

Oh FFS!! I wasn't being bitchy about her - I don't like her and her music is not to my taste, that's all!

What I was saying is that I did not understand why she got SO much coverage at the Olympics over other performers and I could have understood it a bit more if she was from London! Not saying that she shouldn't have been allowed...

I think there is a paucity of singers in the uk who can be relied upon to consistently sing well live.

YANBU I am starting to feel the same way and she always sings her depressing slow numbers rather than the more dancey ones that are not half bad. Yawn.
