He did it last week at the charity gig for the hurricaine that hit newyork I didnt hear what they sang just sir paul head bobbing at the front and Dave phwaorGrohl drumming at the back it was surreal

I can see why she was there last night, as she was the flagship singer for the Olympics. She might as well milk it a bit, as with all the over-exposure, she'll be old hat in twelve months.

Might you, I think Adele is hugely over-rated too. Her song for the latest Bond film sounds like a pastiche of all the others. She is to Bond themes what The Rutles were to The Beatles. Worse, probably. Maybe Oasis.

I was told that she featured so heavily at the Olympics as she stood in for Adele at the last minute.

I admit that I did groan when I saw that they were rolling her out yet again, but I dont think you can deny that she is a real talent.

Some of the comments on here about her 'nasal voice' , the way she dresses, how old she looks and the fact that she dared to perform at the Olympics when she isnt from London (shock horror) are just plain nasty.

I had never heard of her before the olympics and can't understand all the fuss. I don't think she is that wonderful.

Just read the Duchess of Cambridge presenting an award thread at SPOTY last night.
There's a fine line between having a larf and bitching about other women. And today I really thing many people have gone over it.

She's v talented. She's not half naked wearing a dead cow as a head dress. So I kinda like her. But agree that she's everywhere at the moment and my kids find her very dull. She's lost loads of weight though and I do respect the fact that she's not over the top in your face all the time ( albeit in your face at every tv event!!).

I am a huge fan of emeli sande's music but when i saw her on tv last night i did think that she is everywhere. However i did think the song went well with the tribute.

I also don't think it's relevant she's not from london, but there is no real harm in saying she is styled older than her years.

She seems talented and very nice. I think it's her sheer ubiquity which is giving most people the irrits.
