Trying to order pyjamas for my son. Every SINGLE one I have clicked on in the last wasted 10 minutes of my life have either been sold out or are available in 3 weeks.

Why can't they remove things off their website that aren't available now? Stop wasting my fucking time Next.

That is annoying. Surely if they want to showcase future stock they should do it in a "coming soon" kind of category rather than get in the way of a purchase you actually want to make now and frustrate you.

SamuelWestsMistress · 15/12/2012 14:34

Every single pair of PJs in age 7 are either sold out or available in 3 weeks with the exception of the short sleeved/ shorts style. It's so frustrating! I even tried for my youngest too...same story. You even have to click add to cart before it tells you they're not available right now.

This annoys me too! Although often they dispatch sooner or will try get them from a store if you phone (I think, I know they used to).

Next are a bleedin' nightmare this time of year, you've got Bob Hope & no hope. It's soul destroying!

SoleSource · 15/12/2012 14:39

Next do this all year round. I do not shop online with Next any longer because nothing I need us ever in stock.

Dawndonna · 15/12/2012 14:42

I've just done exactly the same with the Adult bloke jammies not available for three weeks or sold out.
Grrrrr!

SamuelWestsMistress · 15/12/2012 14:42

I've given up now. Generally I find them pretty good and in all honesty their delivery company are an example the likes of the cretins at Yodel should take note of!

Never mind. I'm sure I'll still find something in the supermarkets. I hope not all ages 3 and 7 boys pyjamas have sold out everywhere in the entire UK, but it's beginning to feel like they have! Girls NEVER seem to have this problem...perhaps I should dress them both in DD's?

I've stopped shopping at Next online for this very reason. It happens every single time. You put stuff in your basket, assume that because it doesn't say 'out of stock' on it that all will be good. You then go to check out and you're lucky if one item in your basket is in stock or not due for delivery in less than 1 million weeks. Pisses me right off.

DigWeedSow · 15/12/2012 16:23

YANBU! I ordered a blind for my spare room on the 11th of Oct. at the time it had a 4 week delay which was fine as I didn't need until we had guests staying over Christmas. 4 weeks passed and I got an email stating that it would be in stock on the 11th of Dec, again no problem as not needed until Christmas (although it would have been nice to get the room finished!). Phoned them on the 13th to see when to expect delivery.......guess what, it's still out of stock.

I've given up and now have to start looking for something else in time for next weekend Xmas Angry

ENormaSnob · 15/12/2012 17:42

Yanbu at all.

Especially when they lie about the 3/4/5 week wait. Which seems to be every time.

popcal · 15/12/2012 19:05

I ordered a jumper on Wednesday that said available in up to 3 weeks - arrived today!
