to wonder where the 'eckers my parcel has gone?

Ordered myself some boots on the 5th from Amazon.

Am on the Prime trial so they said would have next day delivery.

They didn't turn up on the 6th or the 7th.

I tracked them and it said : Latest Event: Order has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit - 5 December 2012 18:11:38, expected delivery December 6

Thats on the AMAZON tracking, I emailed them and they supplied me with the tracking number and courriers website,

Their website says the same as above on the 5th

but then on the 8th (saturday) it says :

Date Time Event Details
08 Dec 2012 12:04:06 ITEM NOT RECEIVED FROM AMAZON

Amazon have agreed to re-ship today as they phoned the courrier and they have said they never recieved the parcel ...

so why does both trackings say ...05 Dec 2012 18:11:38 ITEM AT AMAZON,READY FOR DISPATCH TO CITYSPRINT

Am confused as to why the courrier are saying they never recieved it?

I know it doesn't really matter as Amazon are replacing them but how can it go missing inbetween and them not care?

It could have ended up at the wrong depot or, say, sent to Yodel by mistake.

I had fun and games with citysprint back in the summer. Parcel was due next day - also prime free trial and over several days the parcel was shown as out for delivery but never got here. According to citysprint it was sent to them in error as they don't deliver to our area and they had agreed to as a one off!!! Amazon's first idea was to give me another free month of prime!
So by the time amazon agreed to send it again one item had gone out of stock. If I had just gone for normal delivery then it probably would all have arrived before i got the part order via prime!! I only signed up for prime as it was a games console and games and i wanted it to arrive when i knew i would be in.

I'm going to cancel my prime, their normal service seems more reliable!

I hope they come tomorrow!

Hope you get it! It's good Amazon sent it out again without a problem. I've got a problem at the moment about a parcel mysteriously vanishing while with a courier.
