A Facebook 'friend' has posted this link and made a comment along the lines of 'and they wonder why paedophiles are running wild'.

She's a cute kid with a good voice. Not inappropriately dressed or inappropriately dancing. I really see nothing wrong with it.

Even if there was something sexual about it, how on earth would that encourage people to be pedophiles? Stinks of victim blaming to me; children dressed 'sexily' encourage adults to be pedophiles/abuse them.

I don't agree with her - don't think paedophilia has anything to do with kids being presented as adults - but is she not referring to the choice of song more than anything?

Paedophiles don't want children dressed/acting like adults. They want children. The clue is in their name.
