to refuse delivery of pizza after 1 hour 20 mins and still not here

Just wondering at what point i can refuse delivery of pizza after taking so long?
Ordered online from dominos who have an offer on its been 1hr 20 and order tracking says pizza still is being prepped before baking. Cant get through to store as constantly engaged no doubt people trying to order. wouldnt mind but when i placed my order it said estimated del time 27 mins!!!
Would i be unreasonable as im bloody starving and going to order elsewhere

This happened to me with Dominos. I'd paid on line as well.

2 hours 45 mins for two sodding pizzas. I've never used them again.

If you've already paid I wouldn't bother ordering somewhere else because they won't refund you IME. They'll offer you a free pizza for next time but then mysteriously have no record of this when you phone them up to order

If you've elected to pay cash on delivery I have no idea what the legal position is.

YABU to order anything from Dominos in the first place. Yuk.

They do have an offer on - our local one is taking a hammering ... however I've just got mine bang on 45 mins after ordering and they said 40-1 hr

keep ringing, eventually you should be able to get through and give them hell!

Out of interest, do you know that Dominos pizzas very often feature as assignments for mystery shoppers? If you are really irate about it and actually wants to DO something sign up to Market Force mystery shopping and go for any assignments to do with Dominos pizza in your area. That way, you wont only get your pizza costs reimbursed, but you get paid.

Might be worth kicking off a bit on their fb page too

This happened to me. I got throught to the store and told them not to bother. They offered a refund and to let me have the food. I didn't want the food as (according to the food tracker) it had been cooked over an hour before.

The manager was very rude and even rang me back to have a go.

I complained to the franchisee. They were great,are sure my refund was done and go a voucher for any 2 large pizzas, any 4 sides, drinks and 4 desserts.

The area manager was lovely and really seemed concerned about the problems at the store. Which have now been resolved. Its actually because of her I still use them. Not the voucher.
