A women has been giving my friend glaring looks whenever she sees her. This women walks or drives past my friends house on the school run. This has been going on for a couple of years if and when she sees her.

I saw her earlier walking down the estate, as i was coming home, I stopped my car and got out and called her on it.

Was IBU I sticking up for my friend?

well i just thought that was a question one might ask if they had done that, and way to justify starting a thread, in the reverse.

I did wonder about reporting her though.

This clearly states that you still "give her the evils." Later you say that you haven't done so for years. So why is the above quotation in the present tense? Or were you simply affecting a post-modernist literary style?
