It's the first Monday of December, surely that's unseasonable?

YABU. It should be vodka and orange out of a milk bottle. Those were the days.

BOFingSanta · 03/12/2012 20:34

Or a snakebite and black.

WilsonFrickett · 03/12/2012 20:35

Gin with The Smiths. There are rules.

HairyGrotter · 03/12/2012 20:35

Ooo I could murder a snakebite and black

OP posts:
ElectricSoftParade · 03/12/2012 20:36

It is never unreasonable to listen to The Smiths. I would draw the line at Lambrini though, my tipple of choice tonight is the dregs of all the bottles left over from my birthday party a rather nice red. Xmas Grin

McChristmasPants2012 · 03/12/2012 20:36

yabus to have Lambrini

ElectricSoftParade · 03/12/2012 20:37

Snakebite and black - takes me back at least 20 years. Lovely, lovely drink until you are sick.

McChristmasPants2012 · 03/12/2012 20:38

may try snakebite after googling

HairyGrotter · 03/12/2012 20:38

It was only £2.75 in Iceland, I'm a mature student waiting on my next instalment due in January. Desperate times...

Dawndonna · 03/12/2012 20:38

The Smiths, so good if you could get Morrisey's voice removed from all tracks!

BOFingSanta · 03/12/2012 20:38

I think we've all been there, Electric Xmas Grin

RawShark · 03/12/2012 20:39

the trouble with Lambrini is you need to drink a litre before you feel that lovely alcoholic glow.

YANBU re SMiths though

snakebit and black - whatever happened to that Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/12/2012 20:39

You may be being unseasonable but it is NEVER unreasonable to listen to The Smiths. Lambrini on the other hand...

Southern Comfort is the drink of choice for listening to The Smiths, imho. Or maybe White Diamond (oh god that stuff was evil).

MrsTerryPratchett · 03/12/2012 20:40

Did anyone else's locals ban Snakebite? Ours did. We used to ask for a pint glass, and a half of cider and lager. Even Bill Clinton was refused one once. Grin

BumpingFuglies · 03/12/2012 20:40

Lambrini? YABU
Smiths? YANBU
You ok OP? Which tracks?

HairyGrotter · 03/12/2012 20:41

I do a mean Morrissey impression, along with my Cher, Eddie Vedder and Bowie! I've had a few Irish Creams too, I know how to party on a Monday

OP posts:
MrsTerryPratchett · 03/12/2012 20:42

Irish Creams and Lambrini. You're stomach must be happy. Xmas Envy

HairyGrotter · 03/12/2012 20:42

Ooo I'm fine, I adore The Smiths, I'll slap them on during any occasion, just wondered if it was unseasonable Wink

OP posts:
PomBearWithAnOFRS · 03/12/2012 20:43

You need Mad Dog 20/20 surely? Grin

ElectricSoftParade · 03/12/2012 20:44

Inspired by this I am now listening to Cemetery Gates - LOVELY!

HairyGrotter · 03/12/2012 20:44

They still sell that down the road, although didn't they stop one of the MD 20/20 colours for being toxic beyond 90's comprehension?

OP posts:
Bunbaker · 03/12/2012 20:44

Very. Sorry, but I could never get into the Smiths, and Lambrini is for teenagers.

redlac · 03/12/2012 20:45

The Smiths are a band for ALL seasons, all times of the day or night, any day of the week, any month of the year

I was happy in a haze of a drunken hour (preferably Morgan's spiced and cola)

BumpingFuglies · 03/12/2012 20:45

Pardy on dude...

Just checking like Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 03/12/2012 20:46

What the hell was that fortified wine called that we all drank? It was dreadful. The fact that i can't remember says it all, really.
