Ok, I get that the school ones raise money for the school.
But I find it so hard to get excited about trying to walk through hoards of people to view, um... jars of sweets and tat in crumpled boxes that people have brought in to sell that nobody would ever want. The one in our town is not a whole lot better. You just end up feeling like you need to be eating a hot dog when you don't.
Am I missing something? Are they better in places like London?
