to think new agency work rights are not working

After many friends have been told they are not needed after 11 weeks on agnecy and it also happening in my husband's work.

I don't think these regulations are working as many companies just wait till 11 weeks and tell them any excuss and get new agency workers in.

What are your views on this subject

Trying to give agency temp workers similar rights to permanent employees is just bananas. The whole point of hiring temps is to plug a short-medium term gap.

It is my point that agency staff get short changed once the 12 weeks mark is looming
