I have a toddler & a 9 week old who is poorly with bronchiolitis. I've slept even more badly this week than usual due to his coughing & frankly I'm exhausted. AIBU to slump in front of the tv today. DS1 is going to GP this afternoon so it won't be a full TV day for him and at the moment he's happily playing with his trains so isn't interested in the TV anyway.

YANBU. I do this sometimes and both mine are at school. Do what you need to to survive. Hope the baby gets better soon and that you get some sleep.

It's totally fine. Try and go for a little walk round the block this afternoon for some fresh air, and when DS goes to GP, take yourself off to bed with baby and doze on and off. Fingers crossed for a better night and for baby's recovery.

YANBU at all!

When DS2 was a baby and had bronchiolitis, DS1 watched so much Postman Pat and Fireman Sam on video (yes it was that long ago), he knew them off by heart! Blush

Hope they get better soon!xxx

Do it. 9 week old baby is enough reason to, let alone ill baby and toddler to deal with, and if you are expecting to be up during the night you might as well conserve your energy as much as possible now.

YANBU at all. I'm doing similar today, with a toddler and a baby, as two of us are ill. Let's not feel guilty :)
