it's one of the best clubs for children. If you subscribe they send magazines full of games one month and stories and jokes and interviews with real authors, and a free book the next all supported by a terrific website. There are no commercial tie ins, just books and authors and illustrators and children emulating books authors and writers. I am gutted this club is stopping. Both my daughters love it but I don't think many others know about it. It comes hot on the heels of the merger between random house and Penguin. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE mumsnet, campaign agains this one - it's worth saving.

why not start a thread in the campaigns topic?

amistillsexy · 27/11/2012 22:37

How can a campagne help? Surely it's a financial decision taken by the company to stop what must have been a very expensive service, which they offered for free Confused

You want a company to campaign against the business decision of another company? Why?
And why in aibu?

You are, by the way.

no it was subscription based. I think it was the low take up due to poor marketing. None of the other mums in the playground had heard of it - don't know whether it's a north south thing (we live near Manchester)
